New Monocell Joint(NMC)
New Monocell Joint adopted round steel material for the driving surface to reduce noise and provides excellent
durability against wheel impact and abrasion. It provides excellent in ozone resistance, cold resistance and high
durability as it uses synthetic rubber. It is produced through vulcanization molding in hydraulic press for each dimension,
ensuring high waterproof reliability. Moreover, it is produced separately by unit length and waterproof coupling is
applied between each product to completely block leakage.
1. Features of New Monocell Joint
• Durability is improved, compared to rubber-based mono-cell joints, by welding the upper protective steel plate and lateral plate
and bonding the rubber press to the inside of top plate and lateral plate.
• The top plate is designed as a wave pattern, ensuring excellent operability.
• Using special rubber compound, it can be used for various kinds of bridges such as lateral, longitudinal, and diagonal bridges, etc.
• Simple structure with excellent workability and easy maintenance.
• Fitted with level surface maintenance device on the body of expansion joint, it is easy to compensate the flow during installation
